Ghanaian forward, Daniel Lomotey was in action for Algerian side Entente Sportive Sétifienne in their round of five Confederation Cup game against Orlando Pirates.
The former West African Football Academy (WAFA) SC graduate, started his first game for the Black and Whites outfit after he made his debut against Enyimba FC from the bench on April 11.
After featuring in Setif’s 3-0 win at home over Enyimba FC of Nigeria, the Ghanaian youngster was given a starting berth in today’s 0-0 game in South Africa against Orlando Pirates.
After playing 45 of the match, the Ghanaian was substituted and replaced by Messalla Merbah at the start of the second half of the tough encounter which could not produce a goal throughout the 90 minutes.
Lomotey scored eight goals in five games in the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League including four goals in a game against Medeama SC in Sogakope and was quickly poached by the Algerian team.
