German-born Ghanaian versatile defender, Gideon Jung is set to make his long-awaited move to newly-promoted Bundesliga dude Greuther Fürth, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm.
The former Hamburger SV man is expected to undergo a mandatory medical test at Greuther Fürth by the close of today.
Jung lasted seven years with the former Bundesliga giants, Hamburg but decided to part ways with German Bundesliga 2 team at the end of this season.
The 26-year-old former Germany youth player is still eligible to play for the four-time AFCON winners, Ghana.
Jung did not feature a lot for Hamburger SV last season and this led to the termination of his contract to be able to join a new club this summer.
The Ghanaian is expected to be announced by the Green and Whites club as their new signing in the coming days.
