Ghanaian international defender, Emmanuel Ntim scored the only goal for Valenciennes in their 1-0 home win against Caen.
The Ghanaian right back netted his first goal of the season for the Reds as they pip former Ligue 1 team Stade Malherbe Caen to record their third win in five games this season.
The 24-year-old opened the scoring in the 10th minutes with a powerful header from the center of the box into the top left corner following a corner kick from Aly Abeid.
Ntim’s goal was enough to help Valenciennes to a third home win in the French Ligue 2 this campaign.
The Ghanaian defender’s goal was his first in four games as his team Valenciennes FC moved to 5th on the league log after five games in the French second tier.
