Ghanaian Striker Iddrisu Zibore Abdallah has set his eyes on winning the Tasa Cup with his side Costa Do Sol in Mozambique after booking a final show down against League Champions UD Songo.
The former Bechem United forward was once again in action when Costa beat Feroviario de Maputo 8-7 on penalties in the second semi final on Sunday following a 0-0 aggregate scoreline.
The victory means Costa Do Sol will have the opportunity to lift a silverware at the end of the Mozambique football season next month after narrowly missing out on the Mocambola.
But that quest won’t come easy as they will have to face newly crowned league Champions UD Songo on November 4 at the Zimpeto Stadium in Maputo.
In an exclusive interview with sportsworldGhana.com after Costa’s semi final victory on Sunday, Iddrisu Abdallah minced no words in expressing his delight.
“I am very delighted and excited for the win against Feroviario De Maputo that took us to the final”, he said.
“It was our mission to win the league but we missed out on that to UD Songo and now we have shift our attention to winning the Tasa.
“I am looking forward to the final and I am ready as always to put in my all and ensure that the Costa Do Sol lift the trophy” Idrissu added.
Idrissu joined Costa at the beginning of the Mozambique football season and his impressive displays has seen him being link with a move to a number of Portuguese clubs.
But despite that, the young striker still remain focus on his time with Costa.
“It was a pleasure for me to be here playing for this club. My mission here is to win titles and now that we have missed out on the league, nothing can stop us from going all out to lift the Tasa”, he concluded
