Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew is moving closer to leaving Swansea City after refusing to train with the Championship team.
The Ghanaian marksman has been heavily linked with a move to Palace and the deal was reported to be close to completion.
The Welsh-based outfit wanted to take Riedewald to the Liberty Stadium as part of a deal to let Ayew head to Selhurst Park.
Swansea manager Graham Potter confirmed that the 26-year-old has not joined his teammates in training as he tries to sort out his transfer away from the club.
“There’s no further news on Jordan – he’s just not been here,” Swansea boss Graham Potter told BBC Sport Wales.
“That tells you that he’s not part of what we’re trying to do, by his own actions.
“It’s whether we can get a good enough deal for the club. Otherwise, that’s going to be an interesting time for him.”
The English transfer window will shut on Thursday, August 9, a day before the commencement of the league campaign.
Ayew was the Swans’ top scorer with 11 goals as they were relegated from the Premier League last season.
