Ghana’s Richmond Tachie powers Dortmund to victory over FC Köln

German-born Ghanaian Richmond Tachie scored his first goal in the German Youth league for Borussia Dortmund against FC Köln on Saturday afternoon.

The former Viktoria Köln man scored his first league goal in the German Regionalliga for the Yellow and Blacks against his former rivals FC Köln II as the host came from a goal down to snatch a 2-1 win.

Kasra Ghawilu gave the Billy Goats the lead after 28 minutes of play before Tachie’s equalizer two minutes from half time.

After a one all first half, both teams sensed a chance of winning the game and gave it their all in the second 45 minutes.

German U-19 striker, Dominik Wanner powered home the second goal for the host inside 67 minutes to complete the comeback win for the Borussia Dortmund II team who second on the league log with six points from two games in the Youth League.

Tachie has made two appearances in the Regionalliga this campaign and has scored one goal so far for the BVB youth side
