Ghana’s Black Meteors defender, Robin Polley has joined FC Dordrecht from Eredivisie side Ado Den Haag.
The Ghana International winger who was converted to a right-back expressed his willingness to grow in the game at the Netherlands Erste Divisie side.
Polley explains why this is now the right step for him: “I want to continue the line that I had started at Dordrecht in recent months. It’s important to keep moving and play lots of matches”, he disclosed.
According to him, FC Dordrecht offers him the opportunity to gain confidence and experience in the game which will help his progress due to enough playing time he will be given at the club.
“I am happy that Dordrecht offers me this opportunity again and that ADO Den Haag gives me the opportunity to be loaned out with an extra contract year. That creates peace in my head, so that I can play football freely this season and develop myself to the fullest”, he stated.
Furthermore, the Ghanaian revealed how prepared he is to add something to his game at Dordrecht to help him make a return into the first team of the Netherlands Eredivisie team.
“I will come back stronger and better next year, with more races in my legs and fight for a positon in the team”, he added.
Polley joins FC Dordrecht in a season long loan deal and will return to his Parent-Club Ado Den Haag in summer 2021.
