Ghanaian international defender Alexander Djiku made a second half appearance for Fenerbabce SK in their pre-season friendly game on Saturday, July 15, 2023.
The Ghana defender played his first unofficial game for Turkish giants as they beat Azerbaijani top-flight side Neftci Baku in a friendly in the Russian city of St Petersburg this afternoon.
Djiku joined the club four days ago as a free agent after leaving Strasbourg and was given some minutes in the game after coming on in the second half of the match to make his debut.
Bosnia and Herzegovina captain and former Manchester City, Inter Milan and AS Roma player Edin Dzeko scored the only goal of the match to make it 1-0 at the end of the entertaining clash.
