Ghanaian international winger, Tariq Fosu scored a late winner for Brentford FC against AFC Bournemouth on Wednesday evening at the Brentford Community stadium.
The Ghanaian was a second-half substitute as he was introduced to the match after 65 minutes in place of last game’s hat-trick hero Sergi Canos.
Before Fosu was brought onto the field, the scoreline was one all with 25 minutes left on the clock to play.
Former Liverpool man, Dominik Solanke broke the deadlock of the match to put the visitors 1-0 up after 25 minutes had been played in the first half.
Seven minutes to the end of the opening 45 minutes of the game, Henrik Dalsgaard restored parity for the hosts to make it 1-1 before the break.
Twelve minutes to full time, Bryan Mbuemo provided an inch-perfect cross which found the Ghanaian on the left side of the six-yard box to head the ball into the bottom left corner to make it 2-1 to the bees.
The game finished 2-1 to Brentford who moves to second temporarily on the English Championship after playing 22 games with 41 points.
The 24-year-old Ghanaian has played 14 games this season with a goal to his credit.
