Ghana’s star midfielder Thomas Partey has urged English-born Ghanaian Eddie Nketiah to make ditch the Three Lions of England to play for Black Stars.
Partey, in a video was heard asking the youngster if he’s ready now to represent his native country in his future international career after his hat-trick in Carabao Cup.
The 22-year-old striker has played for England at the junior levels but he is yet to get a look at by England manager Gareth Southgate and is still eligible to play for Ghana.
After excelling against Sunderland in the Carabao Cup with a hat-trick, the former Atletico Madrid man askedthe young forward if he’s ready or thinks it is time to play for Ghana.
“Yeah, now you’re ready for Ghana,” said Partey in a video.
“I’m eager to play football, I’m here under contract and as long as I play for Arsenal I will give it my all. If the manager needs me I will be ready to help the team,” said Nketiah after his hat-trick.
“This competition is where I have been getting starts, whenever I’m asked to play I will do my best and help the team. I’m ready when the manager needs me.”
