Former Medeama Football club coach Tom Strand has disclosed desire to work with Asante Kotoko as a coach of the Kumasi based football club.
Tom reacting to the aftermath of the Matchday 3 of the Ghana premier league between Asante Kotoko and Bechem united revealed his interest to take the place of the croatian trainer Zdravco Lugarusic if the need be.
The former Medeama coach added by given the chance, he will make the fans to fill the stadium which Kotoko have struggled to fill even a 50% of the stadium capacity.
“Yes if I’ll be given the chance I’ll will not let you down.
I will make the fans fill the stadium” He wrote on facebook in a reaction to a question whether he wants the Kotoko job.
Kotoko won the game with a sweat against Bechem united through a penalty awarded at the 85th minute of the game. Being the second home game for Asante Kotoko, attendance wasn’t anything better to talk of.
