Striker Amed Toure scored two goals on Sunday as his team Asec Mimosas beat Moossou FC 3-2 in the Ivorian top flight league.
The former Asante Kotoko goal poacher who never get tired scoring netted double to secure an important three points for the host who were down in the 11th minute courtesy Mohammed Ahmdalard.
Kone Mohammed however responded quickly when he pulled parity for the host two minutes after going down.
Ahmadou Cheick restored Moossou FC lead five minutes away from half time to put more pressure on the Abidjan based club.
At this time Asec were under intense pressure to draw Moossou FC level let alone winning the game until Amed Toure incredibly scored two great goals on the 65th and 75th minute respectively to get Asec Mimosas all three points to put them eight points clear above S.C Gagnoa who sit second on the log.
Toure 30, on Thursday scored brace in Asec Mimosas 4-0 away drubbing over USC Bassam.
The Burkinabe international has so far netted 10 goals in 8 matches, 12 in all competitions since joining the Ivorian giants in November 2017 from Ghana Premier League side Bechem United.
