Ghanaian international Godsway Donyoh is full of excitement after scoring his first goal for Maccabi Haifa FC in the team’s win against Bnei Yehuda.
Donyoh scored his first league goal for Maccabi Haifa in the Israeli league on Wednesday evening.
The former FC Nordsjaelland man scored the game’s opening goal in the first half after 37 minutes to put the Green and Whites 1-0 up in the game before heading to the break.
Five minutes from the break, Bogdan Planic made it 2-0 to the hosts who started the second 45 of the match on a blistering pace and caught their opponents off their guards.
Tjaronn Chery added the icing on the cake three minutes to full time to secure a resounding 3-0 home win for Maccabi Haifa to stretch their lead at the top of the league with 28 points from 12 matches.
Reacting to the goal with a post on his Instagram page, the Ghanaian attacker says he is proud.
“Great team performance last night and proud to score my first goal for Maccabi Haifa FC,” the youngster posted.
Donyoh joined the Israeli team after he returned to Nordsjaelland on loan from Germany team Dynamo Dresden and has a goal to his name in the Israeli top-flight this season.
