Chief Executive Officer of Golden Kick SC, Joseph Epton, has expressed strong confidence ahead of his team’s upcoming MTN FA Cup final against Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko.
Speaking in an interview with Asempa FM in Accra, Epton acknowledged the strength of Kotoko but made it clear that Golden Kick are approaching the game with the goal of winning.
“Asante Kotoko will be a tough side, but for those 90 minutes, we are coming to beat them,” he declared boldly.
While showing respect for the record FA Cup winners, Epton emphasized that his team is not just there to participate but to challenge for the title.
“We respect them, but we believe in ourselves. Everyone starts somewhere — in life, you crawl before you walk, and walk before you run. Golden Kick is on that journey, and we’re ready to take this big step,” he added.
The MTN FA Cup final is set to take place on Sunday, June 15, at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 5:00 PM.
This exciting fixture will see underdogs Golden Kick aiming to cause a major upset against one of the country’s most decorated football clubs in what promises to be an electrifying encounter.
