Wa All-stars are set to soon travel to Senegal for in a mini tournament made of four clubs from the West African football region Sportsworldghana.com can report.
Wa All-stars who are the reigning champions of Ghana are set to play the tournament with Champions of Ivory Coast, Liberia and Senegal.
The tournament which is designed by WAFU seeks to serve as a preparatory grounds for various champions in familiarizing ahead of the Caf Champions league.
Confirming the news to Sportsworldghana.com, head coach of the club Adepah said” Yes we have been invited to participate in the tournament which will be staged in Senegal and we are set to leave Ghana on December 8 for the competition.
With some few weeks for the Ghana premier league to start, the Wa based football club will use the tourney as it final pre season activity before the Ghana league commences in December.
It will be recalled Wa All Stars for the first time travelled outside Ghana in the last year’s pre season to Saudi Arabia and came back to win the league.
