Liberty failed to win for the first time at Carle Reindorf Park on Saturday afternoon in their Ghana Premier League Match Week eight fixture against Defending Champions Wa All Stars.
The Scientific Soccer lads who were missing several of their top performers laboured all afternoon, failing to create opportunities in their opponent half.
With the likes of Gerald Arkson, Emmanuel Sarpong, Issah Shaibu all missing in action through injuries and Michael Ampadu missing through suspension, it was obvious the Dansoman based side were in for a long afternoon.
The team was dealt a huge blow earlier on when left back Nana Osei-Bonsu picked up a injury in the first half and couldn’t continue the game.
The first half of the game was pretty much boring with both sides failing to glitter.
The only clear cut chance of the half fall to Liberty striker Bernard Arthur who failed to direct his header goalwards following a Dankyi delivery from a corner on 35 minutes.
The half ended with both sides looking tired and exhausted following some grueling midweek action.
The second half begun in similar fashion to the first and ended in an even worst manner.
At the end of a hugely unimpressive game, it was Liberty Professionals nil, Wa All Stars nil
