Accra Hearts of Oak have officially expressed interest in signing Vision Football Club striker and captain Frank Duku following his standout performances in the 2024/25 season.
Sources close to both clubs confirm that initial negotiations have begun, with Hearts of Oak making a formal approach to Vision FC for the forward’s services. Duku, who has been a consistent performer in the Division One League, finished the campaign on a high note, scoring two late goals against Asante Kotoko in a recent exhibition match at the Tema Newtown Stadium—a performance that reportedly sealed Hearts’ interest.
The 22-year-old striker has been on the radar of several top-flight clubs due to his leadership on and off the pitch, as well as his consistent goal-scoring form. However, it appears Hearts of Oak are currently leading the race, with personal terms said to be no obstacle, as Duku is reportedly keen on joining the Phobians.
Hearts of Oak, who are looking to bolster their attacking options ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, see Duku as a key addition to their squad rebuild under the current technical team. The club is hopeful of wrapping up the deal before the preseason begins in July.
Frank Duku’s move, if completed, would mark a significant step up in his career, and fans of the Rainbow Club will be eager to see if the promising striker can replicate his Division One form in the top tier.
