Legon Cities have bolstered their squad with the acquisition of 31-year-old center-back Robert Addo Sowah during the January transfer window.
The experienced defender joins on a free transfer, marking his return to the Ghana Premier League after leaving Hearts of Oak in June 2023.
While details of Addo Sowah’s contract remain undisclosed, his signing becomes the club’s fifth addition in the ongoing transfer window as the Royals seek to strengthen their squad.
Legon Cities are currently struggling in the league, sitting 17th in the standings and fighting to escape the relegation zone. The team trails league leaders Bibiani Gold Stars by 19 points.
The January transfer window, which has seen Cities make significant moves, is set to close on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
