Accra Great Olympics picked all points in their week 23 Ghana Premier League clash against West African Football Academy (WAFA) SC on Friday afternoon in der Sogakope to move top of Ghana Premier League table.
The Blue and Whites took an early lead when captain, Gladson Awako scored an excellent and jaw-breaking free-kick from a difficult angle to put the visitors 1-0 up after 14 minutes.
Olympics played very well in the first 45 minutes of the match and the home team little space to operate as they ended the half with their noses in front.
On the hour mark, WAFA center-back Konadu Yiadom scored at the wrong end of the field as his own goal helped Olympics to take a commanding two-goal lead with 30 minutes to go.
Nine minutes after going two goals down, Enock Asubonteng reduced the deficit to one for the home team and handed them some confidence in salvaging the game with a little over 20 minutes to play.
Twelve minutes from full-time, Justus Torsutsey leveled for the home team to make it 2-2 and set up a grand style finish to the frenetic and pulsating encounter.
With 90 minutes played on the clock, and deep into the additional time period of the match, Abdul Manaf Mudasiru popped up with the winner when his shot went past the WAFA goalkeeper with ease to win the game for the Wonder Club.
The game ended 3-2 to Accra Great Olympics who move top of the league table after 23 games with 40 points.
