Accra Great Olympics midfielder Gladaon Awako is set to be unavailable for the friendly match between the Black Stars of Ghana and the Atlas Lions of Morocco on Tuesday.
The player is said to have picked up a minor knock in training during Monday’s session, leaving doubts in his availability for the game.
Awako, who has been the main orchestrator in the Olympics team this season had a small cut at the internal part of the right leg and was immediately given medical treatment.
Although no official communication has been confirmed whether he will be out or not, the Ghana Football Association has revealed that the midfield maestro is currently being assessed before a decision will be made.
The former Under-20 World champion made his debut for Ghana during the against Sao Tome and Principe in earlier this year in March.
Coach C.K Akonnor’s side will play Morocco on Tuesday in Rabat before travelling down to Ghana to host Ivory Coast.
