Accra Great Olympics skipper Gladson Awako has questioned the penalty awarded to Kumasi Asante Kotoko in their 2-1 win over Karela United on Wednesday.
The Porcupine Warriors beat the Anyinase-based club by two goals to one, with Fabio Gama scoring from the spot to hand Kotoko all three points in their match-day 30 fixture at the Len Clay Sports Stadium.

Mariano Barreto’s side were awarded a penalty after Hearts of Oak on-loan goalkeeper Richard Baidoo impeded Evans Adomako in the penalty box, a decision which Awako finds very controversial.
The Black Stars took to Twitter after the game, raising concern about the advantage given to the now league leaders.

All three points for Kotoko now means that they climb on top of the Ghana Premier League having played one more game than rivals Accra Hearts of Oak.
The two will be involved in a crucial ‘Super Clash’ on Sunday, June 27.
