Hannover 96 coach Kenan Kocak has explained why Ghanaian forward Kingsley Schindler was omitted from his 20-man squad named for League 2 Bundesliga game against Fürth on Saturday.
Die Roten (The Reds) were held to a 2-2 draw at home with the German-born Ghanaian international missing in action.
According to Kocak Kingsley Schindler who is at the club on loan from Cologne had performed badly in his previous game against Düsseldorf and he opted to leave him out of the matchday squad.
Schindler joined Kenan Kocak ‘s side together with Knisper Ducksch. The duo had brought Holstein Kiel into the promotion-relegation two years earlier.
At Holstein Kiel, Ducksch scored18 goals and 11 assists whiles Schindler bagged 12 goals and provided 5 assists.
“That is only for performance reasons. We decided not to include him in the squad, ”explains Kocak. In Düsseldorf Schindler was weak,” the Turkish-born German former football said as quoted by the Bild.
There is no possibility of Schindler’s loan being extended or even binding him when his current deal with Hannover 96 expires.
