Experienced and versatile Ghanaian forward, Hans Kwofie was at it again for the second week for Legon Cities FC after joining from Obuasi Ashantigold SC a week ago.
The 31-year-old grabbed his first league goal for the Royals last week in his first outing for the club and was at his best in his team’s victory over struggling Elmina Sharks side on Wednesday evening.
On the 25th minute mark of the game, the former Medeama SC striker netted the opening goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up half way through the first half and was the only goal in the game at the end of the first half.
Five minutes into the second half, Kwofie netted his second goal of the match and his third in two games for the Royals to make it 2-0 on the fifth minute mark.
Despite the clear cut chances that came the home team’s way in the the second, there were no more goals in the game as it ended 2- 0 to the Royals who moves to 13th on the league table above Sharks with 19 points from 16 matches.
