Ghanaian midfielder, Hans Nunoo Sarpei’s team, SPVGG Greuther Fürth secured a dramatic Bundesliga promotion with a final day 3-2 win over Fortuna Düsseldorf at the Sportpark Ronhof Thomas Sommer Stadion.
Sarpei was a second half substitute as he came on to stabilize the defense of his team to secure a vital home win over Düsseldorf to book their qualification to next season’s Bundesliga campaign.
The Green and Whites came from behind twice in the match to win 3-2 at home.
Greuther Fürth were shown a red card in the first half after going a goal down but came back from the break strongly to to secure a dramatic Bundesliga promotion after scoring three goals in the second half with 10-men.
