Hat-trick hero Myron Boadu bags MVP award in AZ Alkmaar’s big win over Feyenoord

Striker Myron Boadu was adjudged Man of the Match following his sparkling performance in AZ Alkmaar’s big win against Feyenoord on Sunday. 

The Dutch striker of Ghanaian descent bagged a hat-trick for AZ Alkmaar as they defeat Feyenoord 4-2 in the Dutch Eredivisie.

Marcos Senesi fired visitors Feyenoord ahead eight minutes into the game but Boadu restored parity for the hosts in the 22nd-minute mark.

Three minutes later after Boadu’s goal, Luis Sinisterra scored to put Feyenoord ahead again but Boadu again hit the back of the net four minutes from the break to level things up for AZ.

Back from recess, Boadu who was simply unplayable struck again for the third time to give the home side a 3-2 lead before Teun Koopmeiners converted a 76th minute penalty to seal a 4 – 2 victory for AZ Alkmaar.

Boadu, 20, has so far netted a total of 29 goals in his last two seasons.
