Nsoatreman FC has confirmed the departure of coach Maxwell Konadu, who has left the club to join South African second-tier side Black Leopards on a three-year deal.

Konadu, who led the team to their first-ever MTN FA Cup title and a commendable fourth-place finish in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season, parted ways with the club amicably.

According to Nsoatreman FC, Konadu leaves behind a legacy and will always be welcomed warmly at the club.

“Nsoatreman Football Club has amicably parted ways with head coach Maxwell Konadu. Maxwell Konadu leaves behind a legacy after clinching the historic FA Cup title and guiding the team to a commendable fourth-place finish in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season. The team’s focus remains on their upcoming CAF Confederation Cup campaign, and they are determined to continue their journey towards becoming a prominent force in Ghanaian and African football.

Konadu signed a two-year contract with Nsoatreman in 2023 and was set to lead the club in their maiden CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

Prior to joining Nsoatreman, he had previously won the Ghana Premier League with Asante Kotoko and joined the club from Legon Cities (formerly WA All Stars).
