The debutants vowed before the encounter to put their coaching troubles beside them and punish the Phobians in the week 19 fixture but it didn’t materialize as the visitors were the victors.

Hearts were the brighter side from the beginning of the game and in the 13th their effort paid off. Patrick Razak located Thomas Abbey who chipped the ball over Sharks’ goalkeeper.

Hearts doubled their lead 4th minutes through striker Kwame Kizito to put the game beyond the reach the home side.

Elimina Shark resumed the second half with high intensity with the hoping of pulling parity but the Phobians stood resolute to deny Sharks any of hope.

The result gives Hearts the opportunity to close in on WAFA who drew against Bolga Stars.

Elsewhere at the Obuasi Len Clay sports stadium, a brace Hans Kwofie and strike from Daniel Gozah ensured the miners secured an emphatic 3-0 victory over Inter Allies.

Theophilous Ogoe’s penalty was enough for Tema Youth to silence Aduana Stars at the Team Sports Stadium as League leaders WAFA shared spoils with relegation battling side Bolga All Stars.
