Former Ghana international Mohammed Polo was left startled by the performance of Accra Hearts of Oak players in their 4-0 win over WAFA on Sunday in the ongoing GFA Special Competition and wants them to maintain their astonishing display throughout the remaining games.
The Phobians to four past the Sogakope based Academy side and as well entertained the fans with their delightful performance.
Two graduates from the youth side Auroras Michelle Sarpong and Manaf Umar were all on the score sheet as the Phobians registered their biggest win in the competition.
Captain Abdul Mohammed Fatawu and Kofi Kordzi scored one each to give the seal an emphatic 4-0 victory for Hearts of Oak.
However, the club legend doesn’t want Kim Grant’s side to play shambolically going forward having commended massively for their good show against WAFA at the Accra Sports Stadium.
‘’The performance against WAFA is surprising but maintaining it is the problem. If you perform good today and decline tomorrow then it’s by chance. It will be the best if they maintain that form.’’ The former Ghana international told Kumasi FM.
‘’The supporters must cease the praises because there’s a lot to do in keeping this current form.
‘’Kim Grant must concentrate on what he’s doing once the management are satisfied with it.
‘’With the performance of the team, the future is bright for Kim Grant.’’ He concluded.
