Captain for Ghana Premier League side Obuasi Ashantigold SC, Richard Osei Agyemang is full of hope in beating Accra Hearts of Oak today.
The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC player however acknowledged the fact that the game will be tough against today’s opposition when they square off at 3pm.
In an interview with Kessben FM ahead of the encounter, Agyemang said, “It is going to be a tough game but we will beat them because we need to win our remaining matches.
The hard tackler also revealed that it is the aim of the club and the playing body of the Miners to win all their home games at the Len Clay Stadium in the second round of the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League season.
“This time we are going to win all our home games in the second round at all cost because we want to win the league. We didn’t have a good first round. Therefore, we have to correct things and get the needed points in the second round.”
When quizzed about how they were going to stop Hearts of Oak winger, Patrick Razak, the tough-spoken defenseman said they are not afraid of the tricky winger.
“We are not worried about Patrick Razak or their attackers, we will beat them. We have players that I don’t want to mention names but we will beat them.”
He also added that former Wa All Stars player, Paul Asare De Vries is now in their ranks and will score against the Phobians as he always did not during his time at his former club.
” Paul Asare will play, during his time at Wa All Stars he always scored against Hearts. He will score and we will beat them”, he concluded.
