Chief Executive Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak, Mark Noonan vented out his displeasure by labeling those peddling reports that Accra Hearts of Oak will be selling Patrick Razak to Kumasi Asante Kotoko as fools.
Patrick Razak has less than a year to run out his stay with the Rainbow family and will not be signing an extension as believed.
There has been a widespread of rumor that, Accra Hearts of Oak are on the verge of losing Patrick Razak to Kumasi Asante Kotoko with the deal nearing the closing stages despite Accra Hearts of Oak issuing an official communication to debunk that report.
The prompter of the rumor was when newly appoint head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, CK Akunnor expressed interest in Patrick Razak.
Not only that, Lawyer Sarfo Duku, the director of communication of Asante Kotoko has also assured fans that the winger will be their[Asante Kotoko] player soon.
“I want to state it very simple and clear that and to assure all our fans that Patrick Razak will be a Kotoko player very soon”. Sarfo told Abusua FM.
Hearts of Oak sought to end the rumors by issuing out a statement not to sell to Kumasi Asante Kotoko – the rumor seems to be flaming up despite that.
The American’s emotion seems to have been stirred up as he took to Twitter to call peddlers of those reports as fools.
For those spreading FAKE NEWS, let me be crystal clear AGAIN. We will NEVER sell @StillPR17 to @AsanteKotoko_SC as long as I am CEO of @HeartsOfOakGH. Anyone who says differently is a fool or has an anti-#AHOSC agenda.
