Hearts of Oak are leading the Ghana Premier League standings on 59 points after 31 games – three more points over closest rivals Asante Kotoko but the Phobians could be declared champions earliest by July 11th, 2021.
The team coached by Samuel Boadu take on Ebusua Dwarfs on Sunday July 4th at the Cape Coast stadium, host Liberty Professionals in Accra on July 11th before closing their season at Sogakope stadium against WAFA on July 18th.
Should they win their next two games , it will be enough to secure them their first league success since the 2008/09 triumph.
Hearts of Oak would have reached 65 points after 33 games and if the next team after them – Kotoko were to even win all their three remaining games, the two teams would have finished the season tied on 65 points each but the Phobians would have the edge based on their superior head to head records against the Porcupine Warriors.
