Accra Hearts of Oak have announced the formation of a new Recruitment Committee as part of major plans to reinforce their squad ahead of the 2025/26 football season.
In an official club statement issued on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, the club revealed that the committee comprises representatives from the Board, Management, and Technical Team. Its mandate is to oversee a data-driven recruitment strategy aimed at strengthening key areas of the team.
The committee has already begun a thorough evaluation process, assessing player performances and identifying potential new signings in alignment with the technical team’s tactical vision. Priority is being given to players with proven experience in the Ghana Premier League and those who fit into the club’s long-term football philosophy.
“Discussions with the clubs of some of the identified players are going very well,” the statement noted, suggesting that several transfer targets could be finalized in the coming weeks.
In addition to scouting new talent, the club is also assessing the current squad to determine which players align with its long-term objectives. Hearts confirmed that players who do not fit into the team’s plans will be released.
The Phobians reiterated their commitment to building a competitive team capable of achieving their goals and promised supporters regular updates throughout the transfer window.
The club also thanked its supporters for their loyalty and patience, adding that the team will resume training on **Friday, June 20, 2025**, in preparation for the new season.
