Hearts of Oak have officially expressed their keen interest in securing the services of striker Sampson Eduku from relegated club Tamale City.
The Phobians have taken the necessary steps by formally requesting permission to enter into negotiations for the acquisition of the talented forward.
Sampson Eduku had an outstanding season in the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League, emerging as Tamale City’s top scorer. His goal-scoring prowess was evident as he notched an impressive tally of 14 goals throughout the campaign.
Finishing in the third position of the league’s goal-scoring charts, Eduku fell just three goals short of Abednego Tetteh from Goldstars, who claimed the top spot with 18 goals.
The remarkable debut season of Eduku at Tamale City has attracted attention from several top clubs within Ghana.
According to reports from Ghanaweb, Sampson Eduku is eager to move up to the Premier League and is actively seeking a transfer during the current transfer window, aiming to leave behind the lower-tier football.
Aside from Hearts of Oak, Medeama SC, the champions of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League, have also shown their interest in securing the signature of Sampson Eduku.
