Accra Hearts of Oak SC playmaker, Ibrahim Salifu has expressed joy and gratitude after being voted as FansZone player of the month for May.
The 21-year-old exciting central midfielder was given the prestigious supporters player of the month award following his exploits in the Ghana Premier League for the Rainbow Boys.
Salifu has been a kingpin for the Phobians since he joined the club from Techiman XI Wonders FC for the second round of the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League season.
In the month of May, Salifu featured in all Hearts games and scored a goal in Bechem to give the 2000 CAF Champions League winners a famous victory.
He also provided two assists and won Man-Of-The-Match awards twice in the month of May which propelled him to be named by the supporters of the club as their player for the month of May.

The youngster has also been shortlisted for the Young-Player-Of-The-Month gong by the Ghana FA as well as a Footballer of the Year nomination by Ghana Football Awards.
