Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak have returned to full training for the first time in almost seven months ahead of the start of the 2020/21 football season.
The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in his 17th Address to the Nation on the update of the COVID-19 pandemic, lifted the ban on contact sports, giving clearance for the resumption of competitive football activities in Ghana.
Football activities in Ghana have been on suspension since March 16, 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic, leading to the cancellation of the 2019/2020 season.
Hearts began their training at the gym and later moved to the beach for some workouts before finally training at the Pobiman Complex.
The Phobians have not won any major trophy for almost a decade and are hoping to bring their trophy drought to an end this year under coach Edward Odoom when the new season starts next month.
