Hearts of Oak have decided to relocate their remaining 2025/26 Ghana Premier League home games to the University of Ghana Stadium, ending their stay at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The club has not officially explained the move, but it comes after growing calls from supporters urging a change of venue due to the team’s disappointing performances at home this season.
Hearts have picked up only six points from five home fixtures, making them the second-worst side in terms of home results. Their only win at the Accra Sports Stadium was a narrow 1-0 victory over bottom-placed Techiman Eleven Wonders, with the rest of the matches ending in draws and a defeat to rivals Asante Kotoko.
The Phobians will play their first match at their new temporary home on Saturday, November 29, when they face Vision FC.
