Accra Hearts of Oak target Gabs Goddey scored his first hat-trick of the season for Nkoranza Warriors FC in their emphatic 3-1 away win over Paga Crocodiles Stars FC on Saturday in the ongoing National Division One League in Zone One.
The attacking midfielder was simply unplayable as he dominated play for his position throughout the full 90 minutes of the game. The promising midfielder scored two brilliant freekicks before completing his hat-trick with a left-footed shot, becoming the first midfielder to net a hat-trick in this season’s league.
Goddey who spent last season with Tema Youth SC, spent some months in Germany with German Bundesliga side Bayer 04 Leverkusen but unfortunately could not seal a deal with the German top-flight side based in Leverkusen in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
The 19-year old attacking midfielder joined the Nkoranza-based club from Royal Awudu Issaka Academy.
The former Caf Champions League winners are hoping to bolster their team with the acquisition of the talented forward from Nkoranza Warriors following his exploits for the club this campaign.
