Hearts of Oak players dominated the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League Team of the Week (ToTW) for Week 22, following their dramatic 1-0 victory over Asante Kotoko in the Super Clash on Sunday.
Goalkeeper Benjamin Asare earned the captain’s armband for the selection after delivering a commanding performance between the posts, helping the Phobians secure maximum points at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
He was joined by teammates Abdul Karim and Baba Adamu, highlighting Hearts of Oak’s strength and balance across the pitch. The team’s cohesive display was also recognized through the inclusion of head coach Didi Dramani, who was named Coach of the Week for masterminding the crucial derby win.
The Week 22 selection also features standout performers from across the league. Samuel Attah Kumi of Gold Stars SC leads the attacking line, supported by Eric Wiafe Dankwah of Swedru All Blacks FC and Lawson Bekui of Hohoe United FC, all of whom impressed with their attacking output and work rate.
In midfield, Salim Adams of Medeama SC and Seidu Saana of Aduana FC showcased drive and composure, while the defensive unit includes Ali Alhassan of Karela United FC, Ridwan Ali of Vision FC, and Bright Boakye Kyereh of Gold Stars SC, each contributing solidity and consistency at the back.
