Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan says only ‘hard work and good leadership’ will bring back the former Caf Champions League winners’ glory days.
The Phobains haven’t won any competitive title since they last won the Ghana Premier League in 2009.
And according to Annan hard work coupled with good leadership would help his former club rediscover their lost glory.
Speaking to Kumasi based Akoma 87.9 FM, Annan said that “there are three clubs that made me who I am today which includes Hearts of Oak and Hasaacas, Vipers and Accra Hearts of Oak,’’
‘’I wish to see hearts bounce back to the good old days but that can only be achieved with hard work and good leadership”. He added
The 33-year old FC Inter Turku ace joined Accra Hearts of Oak from Sekondi Hasaacas FC in the 2005–06 league season.
