Medeama SC postal boy Kwame Boahen might be donning the Accra Hearts of Oak’s Jersey next season as the Accra based football club is prepared to meet the demand of Medeama Sporting Club.
Rival club to Hearts of Oak, Asante Kotoko apparently shown a keen interest to sign the dynamic player but the deal didn’t materialise because the Tarkwa based football club was reluctant to come down on their quoted price for Kwame Boahen.
Medeama, we understand told Kumasi Asante Kotoko to pay GHS100,000 for the service of Boahen but the fabulous team was ready only to pay GHS75,000.
After negotiations with Kotoko hit the snag, sportsworldghana.com can exclusively report Hearts of Oak have taken lead in signing Boahen, and are ready to cough out the quoted figure Medeama is demanding.
This will be the second top singing by the phobians after they signed workerholic midfielder Malik Akowuah last November.
