Former goal king of the Ghana Premier League, Mahatma Otoo has waded into the issue of refereeing in the Hearts and Kotoko games.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko have been very vocal in the past few days about the choice of the referee for Sunday’s clash at Ohene Djan Stadium.
The stand of the Porcupine Warrior’s has been backed by Mahatma Otoo who believes is always problematic for the referees on such occasion.
“It has always been a problem for referees handling Kotoko and Hearts games I don’t know whether is the fans or they get surprised on the pitch,” the ex-Sogndal player said in an interview monitored on the Beautiful Game.
Mahatma Otoo was however certain his former side will deliver on Sunday against their sworn rivals “I think we will win one zero if Kotoko scores early then will be a draw game but if Hearts score first in the first half then I will go for one-nil for Hearts of Oak”
Mahatma won the Ghana Premier League goal king in 2013 with 20 goals before traveling to Norway.
