Black Stars Coach James Kwesi Appiah has urged Ghanaians to support him succeed as a local Coach.
The former Black Stars defender has been handed the job on a two year deal for the second time after he left the post in 2014.
He has been tasked to win laurels with the Black Stars and also qualify the team to the 2018 World Cup. I
n an interview with South African based pay TV Super sport Appiah wants all stakeholders on board for him to succeed.
“We have believe in ourselves the most important thing is our leaders or FA Presidents having the confidence in us giving us every support they would have given foreign coaches”
“If we all support our own we will be successful”Appiah told Super Sport.
“There wont be the need to bring someone from outside to do it for us and for that reason we can always open our chest and say this is our own who is managing us and is taking us far”he added
