Ghanaian youngster Felix Ohene Afena-Gyan has become the youngest player to score 2 or more goals in a single game this season across Europe’s top five ranked leagues.
The 18-year-old versatile forward came from the bench to score twice to help José Mourinho’s team to beat Genoa 2-0 on the road in the Serie A on Sunday.
The two goals he scored on the 81st and 91st minutes of the match made him the youngest player able to score 2+ goals in a single match in the Big-5 European Leagues 2021/22.
He was playing in his third senior game this season in the league coming from the bench in all three matches he’s featured in for the Red and Yellows.
The Ghanaian forward scored six goals in five games in the Italian Primavera which cought José Mourinho’s attention to promote him to the senior side.
Due to his stallar display in the game, the High-flying 18-year-old was adjudged the Most Valuable Player after the game.
Afena-Gyan has two goals in the ongoing 2021-22 Italian Serie A after making just three substitute appearances.
