Promising Ghanaian young right-back Solomon Owusu Bonnah came off the bench feature in Red Bull Leipzig’s 1-1 pre-season friendly draw against Dutch powerhouse Ajax Amsterdam on Saturday.
Bonnah, 17, replaced Slovenian midfielder Kevin Kampl in the 85th minute as the Bundesliga finished the game one apiece with the Dutch club in the game played at Grodig, Austria.
Bonnah was making his second appearance for the German side in the pre-season as he lasted full 90 minutes in Leipzig’s defeat to Montpellier last week.
The highly-rated defender joined Leipzig from Ajax in 2019 summer and has been amazing.
His outstanding display has seen him earn promotion to the senior side ahead of the upcoming Bundesliga season.
Born to Ghanaian parents in Holland, Boannah has been capped 8 times and scored once for the Dutch U17 team.
