The Executive Council of the of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) will meet on Wednesday July 7 at the Boardroom of the GFA Secretariat.
The Council’s emergency meeting has been necessitated by the recent incidents of violence at some match venues.
The country’s football governing body is expected to come out with an official statement after Wednesday’s meeting and outline ways of curbing the recent unfortunate happenings.
The meeting is expected to begin at 11am.
Last Sunday referee Maxwell Hanson was chased at Sunyani the Coronation Park for allegedly awarding a dubious penalty to Real Tamale United in their week 27 clash against BA United.
There was another incident in Dawu as some technical team members of Dreams FC engage in a serious fight with the assistant coach of Berekum Chelsea- Abdul Hennan.
