Callum Hudson-Odoi has remained coy on his future at Chelsea after netting in today’s 3-0 FA Cup win over Sheffield Wednesday.
Hudson-Odoi has been one of the most talked about players in the January transfer window having attracted plenty of interest from German giants, Bayern Munich, who have made a number of bids to take him to the Bundesliga.
The 18-year-old is yet to start a Premier League game but was afforded another chance to impress today in Chelsea‘s FA Cup clash at Stamford Bridge.
The England youth international put in a mature performance, capping it with just the second goal of his career, and speaking about the Blues progress to the fifth round, Hudson-Odoi said that the game was one of the highlights of his career.
“I thought we did very well. It was a great team performance. We did very well in training and worked really hard,” the youngster told BBC Sport.
“That’s one of my highlights. It was nice to top it off with a goal.”
There have been reports that the youngster has handed in a transfer request to try and force a move to the reigning Bundesliga champions, and asked if today’s game would be his last for Chelsea, Hudson-Odoi remained coy on his future at the club.
“I don’t know, I can’t say. I’ll keep working hard and you never know what will happen.”
The youngster has scored twice and assisted three in his last five starts for Chelsea.
