Black Queens skipper Elizabeth Addo was unveiled yesterday, October 11, by Australian Westfield Women’s League side, Western Sydney Wanderers after completing a season long loan from Seattle Reign.
With 25 caps for the Black Queens, the 25-year-old will link up in the coming weeks in preparation for a massive season for the Red & Black.
The Black Queens skipper has played in Nigeria, the US, Sweden and Hungary in her career to date.
“I am excited to be joining the Western Sydney Wanderers and playing in the Westfield W-League this season,” said Addo.
“I know the club is one of the most supported clubs in Australia and I am really looking forward to making a positive impact and to help the club achieve success in the Westfield W-League this season.
“We have a very strong team and we will all be focused on getting to the finals and then hopefully going all the way to win the league.”
Addo is expected to join the Black Queens preparations ahead of the African Women’s Championship which will be hosted in Ghana from November 17 to December 1.
