Accra Hearts of Oak SC star Sulley Ali Muntari says he’s ever ready to don the Black Stars jersey to represent his beloved country, Ghana.
The former AC and Inter Milan player has revealed that he will always honour Black Stars call-up even when he is in crutches and not fully fit.
According to him, even when he is not strong enough and a call-up comes from the technical handlers of the senior national team, he will run and go to play for the nation.
“Ghana even if I’m in my crutches today and they call me to come help, I’ll definitely run and go. Even if I can’t play, I’ll sit there and contribute,” he told Kwabena Yeboah on GTV Sports+’s Sports Highlights show on Monday.
Sulley has played at three world cup competitions for Ghana in 2006, 2010 and 2014 respectively and scored a lot of goals for the national team including one against Uruguay in the quarter-final in 2010.
