Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel says Callum Hudson-Odoi is old enough to decide on what is good.
The German gaffer insists it is not his duty to advise Hudson-Odoi on which nation to play for after twice rejecting to play for England at Under 21 level.
“It’s easy to judge from the outside. You need to hear both sides. It’s not necessary that I’m involved. I’m not here to convince players to join when they don’t want to join. If there are consequences, I’m sure he will take the consequences.”Tuchel told the Press.
“I can understand if people don’t understand or like it [his decision]. I don’t read them, I hear when you mention. He will have good reason why in this moment it is better for him to stay and fight for his place.”He added.
The 20-year-old winger is also on the radar of the Black Stars of Ghana.
