Ghanaian attacker Kamaldeen Sulemana is excited to be fulfilling his dream to share same pitch Lionel Messi and Neymar Dos Santos jnr today.
The Ghanaian forward is expected to start for his team Stade de Rannais against Paris Saint Germain this morning in the French Ligue 1 at home.
Kamaldeen Sulemana, a former FC Nordsjaelland player has been living his dream in the French top-flight this season after joining the Red and Blacks with scintillating performances.
He spoke ahead of today’s clash with PSG and expressed his excitement about playing on the same pitch with Messi and Neymar.
“I knew I was going to have more playing time in Rennes. I felt that I was a priority here and also, I knew that I was going to be able to play against big teams like PSG,” Sulemana said ahead of Sunday’s clash between Rennes and PSG.
“I came for this kind of game. Messi, Neymar, I watched them play when I was little, so being able to be on the same pitch as them is exciting and makes you want to give your all to show what I’m capable of. It’s a game I dreamed of playing.”
His team are 13th on their Ligue 1 standings and have not had the best of times this season.
The French giants are unbeaten in all competitions this season and dispatched Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League earlier in the week.
This will be Sulemana’s last game before the FIFA World Cup qualifiers against the Warriors of Zimbabwe in a double header.
